I've always been interested in crafts since I was little and was surrounded by creative people growing up. One grandmother was a seamstress and both grannies were keen knitters. My Mum would make me dresses and knit me jumpers. I enjoy being creative and am not afraid to experiment. When I was a teenager I made a crinoline dress out of bin bags without a pattern and wore it to a fancy dress party. More recently, I have made a giant paper mache tea pot for the Traidcraft stand at Greenbelt festival. I have done many embroideries and samplers as presents for people. I have also made clothes and home accessories and enjoy knitting toys as gifts. A particular favourite is my 'mini-me' dolls which are knitted miniatures of friends and family. I hope you enjoy exploring my site and please get in touch if you have any comments or would be interested in commissioning crafts. |
